Our
Story
I'm Kimmy, a person who is probably just as excited about your wedding day as you are! I fell in love with design at a young age, doing everything from floral to hair, interior, and more. Design is beautiful and engaging. I find inspiration everywhere around me!

I recently got a bachelor's degree in Family and Consumer Science Education and use the principles of design learned from my interior design and clothing design classes daily in my floral design. I find nature raw, wild, and stunning. I guess that's why I love Utah so much!
​
I believe that we only have this one life, we should slow down, and enjoy the beauty around us! Prioritize the things that matter the most to us! Do what you love, and do it often!

In my free time, you'll find me working on 12 projects that may or may not get done, hiking, traveling, and learning about investments haha!

One day, I aim to obtain a master's degree in Textile Chemistry! I'm also very passionate about women-owned businesses and hope to support and contribute to as many as I can!

Lilias Floral Co.
I worked and trained with amazing florists in the industry for years and then in 2019 decided I wanted to start my own business! Of course 2020 happened and my business did not fair very well! I only took on a couple of small weddings.​
​
I spent the next few years taking workshops and observing other florists and honing my own style. In 2022 I rebranded my company "Rose and Lily Co." to "Lilias Floral Co."

I often get asked why "Lilias?"
​
One of my favorite books growing up was "The Secret Garden" I loved the book and the idea of this secret garden that was wild and neglected but with a little bit of love and attention brings a family back together! The vivid descriptions of the garden bring to life the space, you feel transported there and can almost smell the flowers! Lilias Craven is the late wife of the master of the Craven household and the secret garden is her garden, which she loved and cared for!
“Of course there must be lots of Magic in the world,” he said wisely one day, “but people don’t know what it is like or how to make it. Perhaps the beginning is just to say nice things are going to happen until you make them happen. I am going to try and experiment.”
Flowers to me are magic! You can't help but smile when presented with a bloom! Our goal at Lilias Floral is to bring that wild and beautiful magic to your special day!
